Week four of the Tamworth Thursday Netball League brought another great evening of fun, teamwork and competitive netball across both Division 1 and Division 2.

In Division 1, River Riders enjoyed a strong game against River Hot Shots, finishing 18–11. River Warriors also had a good night on court, coming away with an 8–5 win over River Swimmers. Rivers Divas topped off the division with a confident performance against Rivers Phoenix, ending the match 22–7.

Over in Division 2, River Blacks put together a solid team display to secure a 28–4 win against River Chicks. River Sevens played well to take a 14–7 victory over River Dancers, while River Cruisers finished the evening with a 5–0 win against River Rapids.

A big shout-out goes to Becky Barron from River Chicks, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Her effort, positive attitude and sportsmanship stood out and were well deserved.

As we head into week five, the league is shaping up nicely, with Rivers Divas currently leading Division 1 and River Blacks leading Division 2. We’re looking forward to another enjoyable week of netball and plenty more great moments on court.
