Tamworth Thursday 9th April
It was another fun and lively evening in Week 4 of the Tamworth Thursday netball league, with plenty of great moments across both divisions.
In Division 1, River Riders put in a strong performance to come away with a 13–9 win over River Warriors. Rivers Divas also had a great game, beating Rivers Phoenix 15–9 and really showing what they’re capable of this season.
Over in Division 2, River Cruisers picked up a solid 12–9 win against River Chicks after staying in control throughout. Rivers Swimmers also had a good outing, beating River Dancers 10–6. River Sevens were the standout team of the week, scoring an impressive 17–7 win over River Rapids.
A special shoutout goes to Emily Challis from River Rapids, who was named Most Valued Player. Even though her team didn’t get the result, she really stood out with her energy, movement, and accurate shooting.
Looking ahead to Week 5, Rivers Divas and River Sevens will be the teams to watch as the current top scorers in their divisions. It’s shaping up to be another exciting week!
