The inaugural week of the Redditch Sunday Netball League set the pace for an exhilarating season as teams in the League showcased their skills and determination on the court.

Our newest competitors, Red Hot Shooters had a brilliant start to their Redditch Sunday campaign taking on the formidable Red Foxes. The match was an electrifying start to the season that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Meanwhile, Red Devils managed to fend off the Black Eyed Rebels in a fiercely competitive match, with the final score standing at 17-10. This hard-fought win further emphasized the competitive spirit and high skill level expected in the League this season.

However, the week’s MVP came in the form of Kiss My Pass's Stacey Arnold. Despite her team's 6-24 loss to Red Robins, Arnold's exceptional performance did not go unnoticed. Her brilliant gameplay, combined with her outstanding agility and strategic thinking, earned her the title of the week's most valued player.

Stacey Arnold's recognition as MVP shines a light on the sportsmanship and talent in the league, promising us an engaging season ahead.

As the season progresses, the competition is expected to grow fiercer.
