Week 5 of the Bury Tuesday netball league delivered another enjoyable evening of competitive matches, with all teams in the League putting in strong performances and showing great teamwork on court.

The evening began with Net Set Go! taking on On The Rebound in a well-contested game. Net Set Go! moved the ball confidently around the court and created some good scoring opportunities, helping them secure an 11–6 victory after a determined performance from both teams.

Another close match followed as No Shot Sherlock faced Goal Diggers. Both teams battled throughout and produced a very evenly matched game, which eventually finished in a 5–5 draw. It was a great example of how competitive the league has become this season.

In the next fixture, Court Out put in a strong display against St Michaels, earning a 12–3 win. Their organised defence and steady attacking play helped them maintain control of the match.

The highest scoring result of the night came from Block It Like It’s Hot!, who recorded a 22–5 victory against Bury The Defence. Their confident attacking play and strong teamwork helped them produce an impressive performance.

As the league moves into week 6, Block It Like It’s Hot! currently lead the way among the top scorers, with Court Out also showing strong form. With plenty of matches still to be played, the Bury Tuesday You Play Netball league continues to provide fun, competitive games each week, and there is still plenty to look forward to as the season progresses.
