Bury Tuesday night netball - week 4

Play in the Tottington Tuesday Netball League

It was another enjoyable evening of action in the Tottington Tuesday Netball League as teams took to the court for Week 4. The league continues to showcase some great teamwork, friendly competition, and plenty of impressive performances.

One of the standout games of the evening saw Bury The Defence take on On The Rebound. Bury The Defence had a strong match and came away with a 13–2 win. A particularly impressive performance came from an unrecorded player who showed great shooting accuracy, scoring all 13 goals for Bury The Defence. The league will be interested to see if this player can repeat the performance next week.

There was also a competitive game between Block It Like It's Hot! and St Michaels, with Block It Like It's Hot! securing a 12–6 victory after some solid play across the court. Another closely contested match saw Court Out take on No Shot Sherlock, with Court Out just edging the result 6–5 in a game that stayed tight right until the final whistle. The evening concluded with Goal Diggers narrowly defeating Net Set Go! 3–2 in a well-fought match.

This week’s Most Valuable Player award goes to Lidia Andrew from Bury The Defence. Lidia had an excellent game and made a big contribution to her team’s performance with her hard work and positive impact on the court.

As the Tottington Tuesday league moves into Week 5, teams will be looking forward to another evening of friendly competition and great netball.
