END OF SEASON! ALLSTARS CROWNED CHAMPIONS.....
In the thrilling final week of the Alfreton Monday Social Netball League, Allstars clinched the division title with an astounding performance. Securing a total of 26 points with 13 wins and only 1 loss, so a massive congratulations to them. We must also congratulate Raggydolls for an impressive first campaign as they took the runners up spot with Emily Symmons taking the player of the season award.
The new season starts this coming Monday 6th May and all teams will be contacted over the next 48 hours to allocate the start times for the new season.
Allstars triumphed over Time To Shine this week with a score of 13-4. Despite the defeat, Time To Shine didn't walk away without recognition. Their very own Zoë Steyn was named the most valued player of the week, a testament to her exceptional skill and relentless spirit on the court.
Meanwhile, the Wild Ones and Flaming Divas put on a dazzling display of netball prowess. Wild Ones emerged victorious against Panthers with a score of 12-8, while Flaming Divas outplayed Tibshelf Tigers, scoring 15 to the Tigers' 6.
In the face-off between Raggydolls and Passalona, Raggydolls asserted their dominance with an 8-4 win, showcasing their strategic gameplay and robust defence.
The Alfreton Monday Social Netball league has indeed been a season filled with adrenaline-pumping, heart-racing games, showcasing the finest talent in the area. The teams' sportsmanship, dedication and relentless pursuit of victory have provided a spectacle to behold, setting high expectations for seasons to come.
As the season wraps up, we congratulate Allstars on their well-deserved victory and look forward to another exciting season in the Alfreton Monday Social Netball league.
