Alfreton Monday Week 3!

The Alfreton Monday Premier League, now in its third week, unfolded with high-flying action. 

In an exciting turn of events, Allstars fought to outscore the Wild Ones, with a 13-10 victory. The Allstars showcased their skills and team spirit. Similarly, Time To Shine demonstrated their great gameplay over the Raggydolls with a scoreline of 14-6. However, the night belonged to the Panthers, as they played their way to a 16-6 victory against the Tibshelf Tigers. The Panthers displayed an impressive team effort, with a fast-paced play strategy. Passalona and Flaming Divas ended in an exhilarating 9-9 draw. 

The highlight of the week, however, was the exceptional performance by Emma Todd of Tibshelf Tigers. Despite her team’s loss, Todd stood out as the most valued player of the week. As we head into the fourth week, the Netball League holds promising fun and action. The teams are ready to take on the fun challenge, with the top scorers from Allstars, Time To Shine, Panthers, Passalona, and Flaming Divas leading the charge. This season of the Alfreton Monday Netball League is proving that in netball, every pass, every goal, and every fun moment counts.

P.S. Just a reminder ladies, this is a game of fun and should be played friendly, it has briefly been mentioned that contact has become a slight issue, pulling arms is not how we play Netball :) So if we could nip that in the bud as this is not what we want to be hearing. So for the safety of all players please do adhere to this.
