Alfreton Monday Social Netball Update 26th February
The 5th week of Alfreton Monday social netball league witnessed another entertaining evening of social netball with all teams in attendance and everything running as scheduled.
The Raggydolls triumphed against Alfreton Panthers with a score of 11 to 2. The Panthers, despite their strong defence, couldn't hold back the Raggydolls' as they continues their impressive 100% start to the campaign.
The Wild Ones, showcasing remarkable teamwork, overpowered the Tibshelf Tigers with a scoreline of 13 to 6 in a very close match which could have gone either way as both teams created opportuniteis to score.
Match of the evening was an end to end encounter in which Passalona fell just short to Time To Shine, with Time To Shine taking the victory 12 to 11. The match reflected the true spirit of the sport, keeping everyone on their toes till the final whistle.
The Allstars outshone the Flaming Divas with a score of 13 to 2. Despite the loss, the Flaming Divas' Sarah Bacon stood out as the most valued player of the week with her outstanding performance. Her agility and precision on the court were noteworthy, making her a significant contributor to the team's overall performance.
