Alfreton Monday social netball update 1st April
Another good evening in the Alfreton Monday social netball league with all teams in attendance apart from Raggydolls who cancelled giving the required notice but we also had a no show from Wild Ones. We will be contacting them to ensure they are back for their next fixture. Please remember that if you are unable to make a fixture, you must give 7 days notice to avoid being charged and you must contact head office on 01926 674440.
In the Premier League Division, Panthers roared to victory against the Tibshelf Tigers with a strong 5 - 2 finish. The Panthers demonstrated excellent teamwork and strategy, revealing their readiness to tackle the challenges of the coming weeks.
However, the highlight of the evening was the Flaming Divas versus Passalona fixture. The Divas pulled off a nail-biting 9 - 8 win over Passalona in what was one of the most evenly contested matches this season. Both teams showcased their best, but it was the slight edge in the Divas' performance that handed them the much-deserved victory. A special mention must go to Mia Bharwani from Passalona as she gave a fantastic display in gaining the player of the match accolade.
