Play in the Alfreton Monday Social Netball League

Week 5 Brings Another Enjoyable Evening of Netball Action

Week 5 of the Alfreton Monday social netball league provided another great night of matches, with teams taking to the court in good spirits and showing strong teamwork and commitment throughout the evening.

Netty McNet Face put in a confident performance against Time To Shine, securing a 20–6 win. Their movement and passing worked well together, allowing them to build momentum as the game progressed.

In another match, the Panthers recorded a 13–5 victory over the Tibshelf Tigers. Both teams played with enthusiasm, with the Panthers finding consistency in both attack and defence to see out the win.

The Allstars also enjoyed a positive result, coming out on top in a lively 27–19 match against the Raggydolls. It was an entertaining game with plenty of scoring opportunities and good passages of play from both sides.

Despite the result, the Raggydolls had a standout performer in Sophie Martin, who was named Player of the Week. Her calm presence on court, strong decision-making, and ability to contribute in key moments were recognised by the league.

As the season continues, the Alfreton Monday social netball league remains a welcoming and competitive environment, offering enjoyable matches and a chance for players to develop their skills while having fun. With plenty of netball still to come, teams will be looking forward to the upcoming fixtures.
