Play in the Alfreton Monday Social Netball League
Week 4 of the Alfreton Monday Social Netball League delivered another enjoyable evening of action, once again showing that every match brings its own surprises and talking points.
The Allstars put together a confident and composed performance against Netty McNet Face, coming away with a 24–1 win. From the opening whistle, they worked well as a unit and kept the pressure on throughout. Becky Hurt was a standout on the night, earning the Most Valued Player award thanks to her smart movement, game awareness, and consistent finishing.
Panthers and Time To Shine shared a closely contested match that stayed competitive from start to finish. With both teams trading goals, Panthers edged ahead to secure a 10–8 victory. It was a great example of determination and teamwork from both sides, with the result only decided in the final moments.
Tibshelf Tigers also enjoyed a positive outing, finishing 19–15 against Raggydolls. Both teams played with energy and intent, but the Tigers’ steady approach and strong passages of play helped them see out the win.
With the season now well underway, the Alfreton Monday netball league continues to build momentum. Teams are settling into their rhythm, and each week brings more enjoyable matches and encouraging performances, setting the tone for an exciting second half of the season.
