Alfreton Monday night netball - week 3

Play in the Alfreton Monday social netball league

Week three of the Alfreton Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable round of matches, with teams continuing to find their rhythm as the season progresses.

In the League, Allstars secured a close 10–8 win over Panthers in a well-matched and competitive game. Both sides showed strong defensive effort and teamwork throughout, with Allstars edging ahead to take the two points.

Netty McNet Face also had a positive evening, finishing with an 11–7 win against Raggydolls. Raggydolls worked hard in defence, but Netty McNet Face maintained consistent play across the court and made the most of their opportunities.

Time To Shine recorded a convincing 9–1 victory over Tibshelf Tigers. With calm passing and confident shooting, Time To Shine controlled the game and kept steady pressure throughout.

This week’s Most Valued Player was Selina Nacer from Netty McNet Face. Selina’s all-round performance, including accurate shooting, strong defending and great awareness on court, made a big contribution to her team’s success.

As the season continues, teams will be looking to build on their performances and develop their play. We look forward to seeing how the League unfolds over the coming weeks.
