Congratulations to Panthers, this season’s winners in the Alfreton League, and to the runners-up, Allstars. Well done also to Claire Wiles from Raggydolls, who earned this season’s Most Valued Player award.

Panthers rounded off their season with a 13–3 win over Netty McNet Face, finishing on 18 points with nine wins. Their consistent play throughout the season secured them the top spot in the league.

Raggydolls ended their campaign on a high with a 17–8 victory over Time To Shine. Despite the result, Time To Shine had plenty to be proud of, with Zoë Steyn delivering another strong performance. Her dependable play has been an important part of the team’s season.

The final week of the Alfreton Monday Netball League marked the close of an enjoyable ten-week run, with all teams showing commitment and good sportsmanship. Panthers and Raggydolls posted the highest scores this week, but every team contributed to a competitive and engaging season.

As we wrap up, we celebrate the achievements of the winners and acknowledge the efforts of all participants. We look forward to the next season and to seeing more great netball from all involved.
