The Alfreton Monday Night Netball League kicked off its new season with a barnstormer of a week that saw upsets, comebacks, and standout performances on the court.

The first week was full of surprises and edge-of-your-seat action. Allstars stamped their authority against Time To Shine with an impressive 16-7 victory. Tibshelf Tigers also started off the season on a high note, proving their supremacy by stealing the win from Netty McNet Face 17-6.  Raggydolls and Panthers provided the most thrilling match of the evening. Both teams showcased their fierce competitive spirit and tactical skills, but Raggydolls ultimately prevailed with a 14-10 victory. 

The highlight of the opening week was undoubtedly the exceptional performance by Sophie Holmes of Panthers. Despite their loss, Holmes stood out delivering a flawless performance that earned her the accolade of the most valued player of the week. 

These high-scoring matches set the tone for an exciting season of the Alfreton Monday Netball League.
