As the 13th week of the Alfreton Monday Netball league came to a close last night, the League division witnessed some captivating matches that had the spectators on the edge of their seats.

In an exhilarating showdown, the Tibshelf Tigers outperformed Time To Shine, securing a hard-fought victory with a score of 18-11. The Tigers, displaying formidable strength and agility, managed to keep their opponents at bay. Their tactical play and accurate shooting saw them seize control of the match, propelling them to the top of the division.

In another nail-biting encounter, Raggydolls were unfortunately unable to maintain their streak against the formidable Allstars, losing the match 10-15. Despite their best efforts and several impressive plays, the Raggydolls couldn't overcome the Allstars’ solid defense and precise shooting.

However, the true star of the evening was Sammy Lakin of the Panthers. Demonstrating an exceptional performance, Lakin was adjudged the most valued player of the week. Her consistent contribution in both offensive and defensive plays, coupled with his unwavering spirit, significantly impacted his team's performance.

As we head into the subsequent weeks and as the competition intensifies, it's clear that every point will count towards determining the ultimate victor of the League division of the Alfreton Monday Netball league. It has not only been a week of thrilling matches but also an exhibition of skill, sportsmanship, and sheer passion.
