In a vibrant display of fierce competition and sportsmanship, week 8 of the Alfreton Monday Netball League unfolded last night, sending waves of excitement across the division.

The Allstars took on the Tibshelf Tigers in what turned out to be an enthralling encounter. Demonstrating exceptional skill and agility, the Allstars took to the court in a 23 - 11 victory over the Tigers. 

In another riveting match-up, the Panthers roared to a 19 - 4 victory over Time To Shine. The Panthers’ scoring precision and defensive tenacity were on full display, earning them a well-deserved spot amongst this week's top scorers.

The Flaming Divas and Raggydolls clashed in a match where every goal was hard-fought. Despite the Divas' spirited performance, the Raggydolls managed to seize the day with a tight 12 - 8 win.

However, the star of the week was none other than Jacqueline Taljaard of Tibshelf Tigers. Despite the team's result, Taljaard's impressive performance on the court earned her the distinction of being the league's most valued player of the week. With sharp focus, swift manoeuvres, and unstoppable determination, Taljaard proved to be a force to be reckoned with.

As we approach the end of the season, the energy and excitement continue to escalate. The division has once again served up a thrilling week of netball, showcasing the immense talent and tenacity of its teams.
