Week nine of the Winsford Wednesday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of competitive netball, with the league producing some impressive performances and plenty of great moments.

In the league, Clueless in Pink delivered a confident display to beat Fast And Furious 18–4. Although the result didn’t go their way, Fast And Furious had a real standout in Claire Greenwood, who was named the most valued player of the week. Her effort, composure and determination were clear throughout, and she was a key presence on court.

Elsewhere in the league, Throw & Behold earned a strong 21–4 win over Winsford Wasps, showing excellent teamwork and sharp movement across the court. Shots And Giggles also put in a big performance, taking a 28–9 win against Rule Breakers, while Honey Bees secured a well-deserved 16–9 victory over The Underdogs after a competitive match-up.

With the season continuing to build, teams will be looking to carry momentum into next week and keep picking up valuable points. There’s still plenty to play for, and the standard across the league remains high.
