Week eight of the Winsford Wednesday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of positive performances and competitive matches across the league.

Underdogs showed great teamwork and determination as they secured a 15–8 win over Winsford Wasps. Their effort and consistency on court made the difference and highlighted their growing confidence as the season progresses.

Another notable result came from the match between Rule Breakers and Clued Up In Pink. Clued Up In Pink delivered a strong all-round performance to take a 26–8 victory, making the most of their attacking opportunities throughout the game.

Shots And Giggles also had a successful outing, earning a 28–3 win against Throw & Behold. Their organised play and steady approach helped them maintain control from start to finish.

Honey Bees impressed as well, recording a 25–9 win over Fast And Furious. Lydia Woodland stood out during the match and was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her energy, movement, and teamwork played an important role in her team’s success.

Overall, the results this week added to an increasingly competitive league, with teams continuing to develop and build momentum. As the season moves forward, there are plenty more exciting fixtures to look ahead to.
