Winsford Wednesday night netball - week 7

Week 7 of the Winsford Wednesday netball league delivered another exciting evening of fixtures, with all teams showing great effort, determination, and teamwork throughout a competitive round of matches in the league.

The opening game saw Shots And Giggles take on Underdogs in a closely contested match. Both teams worked hard across the court and produced some excellent passages of play, but Shots And Giggles managed to edge ahead in the final stages to secure an 11–8 victory.

Honey Bees were in strong form against Winsford Wasps, putting in a confident performance to claim a 19–10 win. Their organised defending and sharp attacking transitions helped them control the game and build momentum throughout.

Clued Up In Pink also delivered a dominant display against Throw & Behold, producing a fluent and well-coordinated performance to take a convincing 24–5 win. Their movement and teamwork stood out across all quarters of the match.

In the final game of the evening, Fast And Furious put on a commanding performance against Rule Breakers, securing an impressive 27–3 victory. Their pace, accuracy, and intensity made them a difficult side to contain throughout the match.

A special mention goes to Courtney Doran from Rule Breakers, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Despite the result, her performance was outstanding, showing real determination, skill, and leadership throughout the game.

Overall, it was another enjoyable and competitive week in the league, with all teams contributing to a positive atmosphere and plenty of entertaining netball on display. The standard continues to rise as the season progresses, with exciting fixtures still to come.
