Winsford Wednesday night netball - week 6

Play in the Winsford Wednesday netball league.

Week 6 of the Winsford Wednesday netball league brought another evening of competitive and enjoyable matches, with teams continuing to build momentum as the season progresses. The division is starting to take shape, and each game is playing an important role in how the standings develop.

In one of the evening’s key fixtures, Shots And Giggles faced Clued Up In Pink. Both teams showed good effort and determination throughout, but Clued Up In Pink maintained a steady lead to secure a 14–9 win. Their teamwork and ability to move the ball effectively across the court helped them control the game for long periods.

One of the closest matches of the night saw Underdogs and Rule Breakers play out an 11–11 draw. It was a well-matched contest, with both teams showing strong attacking play and solid defence. The score remained tight throughout, reflecting the balance between the two sides and making it an exciting game to follow.

Winsford Wasps took on Fast And Furious in another competitive fixture. Fast And Furious were able to build momentum as the game progressed, eventually securing a 16–7 win. Their organised approach and consistent finishing made the difference, despite a determined effort from Winsford Wasps.

In the final match of the evening, Honey Bees faced Throw & Behold in a closely contested game. Honey Bees managed to come out on top with a 15–12 victory, thanks to their steady play and ability to convert key chances at important moments in the match.

This week’s most valued player was Courtney Doran from Rule Breakers. Her performance stood out across the evening, showing great awareness, accuracy, and consistency. Her contribution played a key role in helping her team secure a well-earned draw.

Several teams also impressed with their scoring this week, with Clued Up In Pink, Fast And Furious, and Honey Bees all delivering strong attacking performances. Their ability to take chances and maintain pressure will be important as the season continues.

As we move further into the season, teams are continuing to develop their confidence and teamwork, making each week increasingly competitive. With the division still wide open, there is plenty to play for, and every result will have an impact on the final standings.

We look forward to another round of exciting fixtures next week as teams aim to build on their performances and continue their progress.
