Week 13 Round-Up – Winsford Wednesday Netball League

Week 13 of the Winsford Wednesday Netball League brought another positive evening of midweek netball, with teams continuing to show great teamwork and sportsmanship across the League.

Honey Bees secured a 13–7 win over Rule Breakers in an enjoyable and competitive match. Their composed passing and consistent shooting helped them build a steady lead, while Rule Breakers worked hard throughout and kept the game flowing.

Throw & Behold delivered a strong performance against Fast And Furious, earning a 21–4 victory. Their movement on court and organised defence made the difference, though both teams showed commitment and effort from start to finish.

Clueless In Pink and Underdogs played out an entertaining fixture, with Clueless In Pink coming away with a 17–11 win. Underdogs kept battling and showed plenty of determination, contributing to a lively and well-contested game.

In another match, Shots And Giggles recorded a 13–7 win over Winsford Wasps. Despite the result, Suzanne Howley from Winsford Wasps stood out with an excellent individual performance. Her energy, awareness and impact on the court earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player of the Week.

As the season continues, the League table is starting to take shape, but there is still plenty of netball to be played. With encouraging performances and strong team spirit on show each week, we’re looking forward to seeing how the remainder of the season unfolds.
