The Winsford Wednesday Netball League got off to a great start last night as teams took to the court for the opening week of the new season. It was an enjoyable evening filled with plenty of energy, teamwork, and some impressive performances across the league.

Rule Breakers made a strong start to their campaign with a 5–0 win over Throw & Behold. The team worked well together throughout the match and showed good control across the court. Melissa Hall delivered a standout performance and was awarded Most Valuable Player of the Week for her excellent contribution to the game.

There were several other entertaining matches during the evening. Clueld Up In Pink produced a confident performance against Winsford Wasps, securing an 18–8 victory with some strong attacking play and solid teamwork.

Underdogs also had a great result, defeating Fast And Furious 20–9 after a consistent performance across the match.

One of the closest games of the night saw Honey Bees take on Shots and Giggles, with Honey Bees just edging the result 12–11 in a very competitive contest that stayed close until the final whistle.

With the first round of matches complete, the Winsford Wednesday Netball League is already shaping up to be a fun and competitive season. Teams will now be looking ahead to the next round of fixtures as they continue to build momentum.
