Play in the Daventry Sunday Netball League

In the heart of the Daventry sports scene, the widely popular 7 a side Netball league, famously known as Daventry Sunday, marked its 8th week, witnessing some thrilling and captivating clashes.

In the Division 1 games, the Black Diamonds shone brighter than their rivals White Pearls, managing an impressive 11-5 win. The game was marked by an exciting display of skill, strategy, and teamwork from both the teams, setting the pace for the matches that followed.

The encounter between the Golden Gems and Violet Vipers proved to be a nail-biter, with the Vipers slithering past with just one point lead, ending the game at 9-8 in their favour. This close competition is what makes Daventry Sunday a league to watch out for.

However, the most significant margin of victory belonged to the Turquoise Topaz, who outshone Green Emeralds with a staggering 27-2 win. Despite the steep defeat, the Emeralds' player, 

Gina, Emeralds; Debby, Gems and Emma, Pearls took the title of the Most Valued Players of the week. Well played!!

As we draw near to the end of this gripping season, with only two weeks left, securing a place for the next season becomes all the more crucial.

While the top scorers for each division have been quite dynamic this season, the stellar performances in this week’s Division 1 games undoubtedly make these teams ones to watch out for in the next.
