Daventry Sunday 2025-10-12

Play in the Daventry Sunday Netball League

The Daventry Sunday Netball League completed its 6th week of action yesterday, proving yet again why it’s one of the most exciting athletic competitions in the region. Despite the stiff competition, Division 1 saw some remarkable performances from all sides.

In a closely contested match, the Black Diamonds and the White Pearls proved to be evenly matched, ending the game in a gripping 16-16 draw. Both teams displayed exceptional skills and determination, leaving spectators at the edge of their seats. The teams' top scorers led from the front, ensuring their squads remained in strong contention throughout the match.

Another pivotal match was the Golden Gems versus the Violet Vipers. The Gems came out victorious with a 14-8 win against the Vipers.

In the third match of the day, the Turquoise Topaz triumphed over the Green Emeralds with an impressive 13-5. The Topaz showed their superior skill and strategy, taking home a well-deserved victory.

Despite the Violet Vipers' loss, there was an individual player who stood out amongst the rest. Violet Vipers' own Rosie Cave was named the most valued player of the week. Other MVPs were Shannon from Emeralds and Mia from Diamonds - well played to all.

This week's matches were a testament to the robust competition in the Daventry Sunday Netball League. As the teams continue to battle it out on the court, we look forward to more exciting matches in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for next week's thrilling encounters as the competition heats up in the Daventry Sunday Netball League.
