As the sun set on week 6 of the Oxford Sunday Netball League, the League division enjoyed another evening of well-played, friendly competition, with plenty of positive energy across the courts.

The Full Oxperience and Shooting Stars opened the evening with a lively and fast-paced match. The Full Oxperience settled into the game quickly, showing good movement through the court and consistent shooting to build a steady lead. Shooting Stars kept working hard, creating opportunities and supporting one another throughout, but The Full Oxperience maintained their momentum to finish with a 19–3 win and continue their strong form this season.

The second match saw Spires And Triers take on Cant Touch This in a game that highlighted teamwork and determination from both sides. Spires And Triers worked cohesively across all areas of the court, linking defence into attack effectively and making the most of their chances. Cant Touch This showed resilience and kept pushing, with some great passages of play, but Spires And Triers secured a 14–3 victory after a well-organised performance.

A standout moment from the evening was the performance of Ellis Pearson from Spires And Triers, who was named Player of the Week. Ellis made a strong impact with excellent positioning, awareness, and support for teammates, helping to keep play flowing and contributing consistently throughout the match.

Across both divisions, the Oxford Sunday Netball League continues to be a great example of competitive yet friendly sport. Teams are not only developing their skills and confidence each week but also showing fantastic encouragement and respect for one another on and off the court.

With the season progressing and teams continuing to find their rhythm, there’s a real sense of excitement building for the weeks ahead. Plenty more matches, improvements, and memorable moments are still to come as everyone enjoys the journey together.
