There were thrills and spills aplenty last night as the Hereford Monday Netball League saw its third week of play. In the league, the competition was fierce and the scores painted a vivid picture of the battles that took place on the court.

In a dazzling display of netball prowess, The Defenders took on the Lightning, and managed an impressive 9-2 victory. 

Meanwhile, the Thunder clashed with the Wye Valley Wonders in a tightly contested match. The Thunder used their strength and agility to carve out a significant 9-5 win, but not without a fight from the Wonders who put up a good show, proving their mettle on the court.

In another thrilling match, the Pink Ladies fell to the superior Net Wizards. Despite a brave effort, the Pink Ladies succumbed to a 9-3 defeat, as the Net Wizards displayed a masterclass in team coordination and individual skill.

The highlight of the week, however, must be the performance of Jayne James from the Wye Valley Wonders. Despite her team's loss, James shone brightly on the court, earning the accolade of the most valued player of the week. 

As we look ahead to next week's play, the stakes have never been higher. With the competition heating up and each team vying for the top spot, the Hereford Monday Netball League promises more nail-biting action to come. Be sure to keep an eye on the top scorers from each division as the battle for supremacy continues on the court.
