Hereford Monday Netball League 12th May
It was another thrilling week in the Hereford Monday Netball league. Week 7 saw some electrifying matches, filled with heart-stopping moments and strategic gameplay.
In the League, it was a night of fierce competition as teams battled for dominance on the court. The Net Wizards and Lightning clashed head-on in an intense match. Both teams showcased their skills, ending in an 11-11 draw, a testament to the closely matched prowess of both teams.
On the other side of the League, The Defenders demonstrated their quality. They secured a commanding win over the Tornadoes with a score of 10-2.
Despite the loss, the Tornadoes had a shining star in the form of Louise Shah. Shah was named the Most Valued Player of the week for her excellent performance. Even in the face of defeat, her skill and determination were evident, making her a standout player on the court.
The top scorers for the week in the League were hard-fought. For the Net Wizards, the high scorer was their agile wing attack, who delivered several key goals in the draw against Lightning. Meanwhile, The Defenders' high scorer was their highly skilled goal shooter, who led their team to a dominant victory.
