Burton-on-trent Sunday Night Netball - Week 8
The night kicked off with a nail-biting draw between Hotshots and Amazeballs, both teams ending the game with a hard-fought ten points each. The intensity continued as Mavericks and Hoopz faced off. Mavericks emerged victorious with a solid 19-13 lead, proving their dominance on the court.
The real upset of the evening came when the Netball Ninjas showcased their skills against the Odd Balls. An impressive performance saw the Ninjas score a whopping 19 points, leaving the Odd Balls trailing with a mere 6. However, despite the team's loss, Odd Balls’ Michelle Dudman stood out amongst the competition. Her exceptional performance not only caught the crowd's eye but also earned her the title of the week's Most Valued Player.
The Ballers and Goal Diggers battled out an exciting match, with The Ballers emerging triumphant with a 13-7 victory. Adding to the thrills, Usual Chaos eked out a narrow victory against Untouchables 12-10, a result that left spectators on the edge of their seats till the final whistle.
The Burton-on-Trent Sunday Netball league continues to be a source of electrifying local sporting action. With such high-level competition and skilled individual performances, there's no denying that the remaining weeks of the season will be ones to watch.
