The Burton-on-trent Sunday Netball League, now in its 10th week of gripping action, witnessed an array of dazzling performances last night that left spectators on the edge of their seats. The limelight, however, shone brightest on the League division where teams competed fiercely for the coveted top spots.

In a high-scoring thrill, Amazeballs stole the show with a resounding 14-6 victory over Hoopz, demonstrating their prowess on the court. Hotshots also made their mark in the highlight reel with a dominating 12-1 win over Hippie Chicks, proving their mettle in this competitive division.

Meanwhile, Netball Ninjas showcased their defensive abilities, maintaining a clean sheet against Mavericks with a 5-0 victory. However, the game of the night was certainly The Ballers clinching a spectacular 24-5 win against Goal Diggers, marking their territory as top scorers of the division.

Perhaps the most exhilarating match of the night was the nail-biting draw between Untouchables and Usual Chaos. Both teams ended with 12 points each, showing the competitive spirit that makes this division so captivating.

Nevertheless, amidst the fierce competition, a star emerged - Sophie Brindley of Hoopz. Despite her team's loss, Sophie's performance was exemplary, earning her the accolade of the week's most valued player. Her agility, tactical brilliance, and sharp shooting skills were a spectacle, leaving a mark on all who witnessed her play.
