Week 8 of the Burton-on-Trent Sunday Netball League brought another brilliant evening of fun, teamwork, and great netball. It’s been fantastic to see so many teams getting involved, supporting each other, and enjoying the game in such a positive atmosphere.

There were some really exciting matchups across the night, with teams like Hotshots and Amazeballs putting on a closely contested game full of energy and determination. Both sides showed great effort and teamwork throughout.

Odd Balls also delivered a strong performance against Goal Diggers, showing great confidence and consistency on court, while Usual Chaos and Untouchables played out an entertaining and competitive match that kept the energy high right until the final whistle.

A big shoutout goes to Jodie Dennis from Usual Chaos, who was named Player of the Week. Her performance stood out thanks to her skill, movement, and all-round impact on the game—well deserved!

The league continues to be a fun and welcoming space for players of all abilities, whether you’re there to compete, keep fit, or just enjoy some social netball.
