In an exhilarating round of the Gloucester Wednesday Netball League, week five proved yet again why this competition is one of the most exciting in the area. Competing in the League, a host of teams battled it out on the court under the floodlights, providing a spectacle of skill, determination, and teamwork.

The match between Footy Mums and High Hoops was a real nail-biter. It was a thrilling contest that ended with the High Hoops narrowly securing a 12-11 victory. However, the Footy Mums' star player, Susanne Capell, managed to steal the show with an outstanding performance, earning her the title of the most valued player of the week. Her agile footwork and sharp shooting were the highlights of the match.

In contrast, the Flaming Hustlers had a tough night against the Hoop Hustlers, with the latter dominating the game from start to finish. The Hoop Hustlers showed their incredible prowess, taking a decisive victory of 15-4.

Court Queens, on the other hand, came out strong against Shooters, securing a solid win with a score of 15-7. It was a high-energy match with both teams showing moments of brilliance, but Court Queens' tactical gameplay and precise shooting eventually led them to victory.

As we reach the midpoint of the season, the stakes are getting higher and the competition is heating up. The League teams have shown their mettle, and we can't wait to see what the next week of the Gloucester Wednesday Netball League brings.
