As the final whistle blew, it marked the end of the thrilling 10th week and the final chapter of the fiercely contested Bicester Thursday League Netball season. The excitement was palpable as the final scores were posted for the matches held last night.
In a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, Bicester Sisters fought tooth and nail with Bicester Belles, ultimately succumbing to defeat with a close score of 10 - 12. This gripping match showcased some of the best Netball action the League division has seen this season.
Meanwhile, Goal Patrol and Seven Stars battled it out in an intense face-off, ending with Seven Stars edging out a victory with a score of 7 - 4.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Most Valued Player of the week. Victoria Eames from Goal Patrol was bestowed with the honour, much to the delight of her teammates and fans.
After ten weeks of fierce competition, Swish Supreme emerged as the champions of the League with a staggering total of 16 points and 8 wins. The team's sheer determination and team spirit were evident in their performance last night, making them worthy winners.
As the season comes to a close, the League has indeed provided an electrifying experience for all Netball enthusiasts. As we anticipate the next season, we congratulate all teams for their spirited performances and Swish Supreme for their victorious season.
