Reminder: The Cooper School has exams on in the sports hall on 19th and 26th of February, we've booked the outdoor courts at The Bicester Golf Club Hotel and Spa where we have previously been over the summer. The fixtures are still the same from 7pm - 8:30pm.
In a thrilling contest of the Bicester Thursday Netball League, the eighth week ended with some spectacular performances and unexpected results. The league, which has distinguished itself as an epitome of competitive Netball action, culminated this week's clashes with three riveting games.
In the Premier League, Bicester Belles won against Bicester Babes with a stunning 22-2 victory. Their spectacular performance was marked by strategic gameplay and excellent teamwork, which left the audiences and their opponents astounded.
Next on court were Seven Stars and Swish Supreme with the latter claiming a convincing 20-3 victory. Swish Supreme displayed fantastic agility and precision, putting up an unforgettable show for the Netball enthusiasts.
In the third match of the evening, Bicester Sisters found themselves on the wrong side of a 16-2 scoreline against Goal Patrol. Despite the result, the match was a treat to watch with both teams demonstrating great sportsmanship and resilience.
The most valued player of the week was Bicester Babes' Debbie Cowlishaw. Despite her team's loss, Cowlishaw's exceptional performance stood out, and her agility, precision, and team-spirit were commendable. This recognition will undoubtedly boost Bicester Babes' confidence for the remaining two weeks of the season.
With only two weeks left, the heat is mounting up in the League. Teams are now in a competition to secure their place for the next season. As the season draws to a close, the excitement is at its peak, and the fans are eagerly waiting for the next thrilling week of this dynamic Netball league.
