Leicester Wednesday Netball Update 8th October

The ninth week of the Leicester Wednesday Netball season concluded last with some breathtaking matches, leaving spectators and participants on the edge of their seats. The games were packed with excitement, great competition and exceptional sportsmanship displayed by all teams involved.

The match that captured everyone's attention was the duel between Wreake Havoc and The Allsorts. The Allsorts managed a narrow victory over Wreake Havoc with a final score of 9-8. The Allsorts showed immense teamwork and strategy to take the edge in this keenly contested game. Despite the loss, Wreake Havoc's Gemma Overton was named the most valued player of the week, adding a silver lining to her team's efforts. Her incredible performance on the court displayed her outstanding skills and determination.

In another electrifying game, Shooting Stars outscored Natterjacks 18-13. The Shooting Stars showed commendable offensive play, making the most of their opportunities to secure victory. The Natterjacks gave a valiant effort but fell short, promising to return stronger next week.

Finally, the Seagrave Squirrels stood victorious against Nets Top Models with a scoreline of 21-11. The Seagrave Squirrels showcased their exceptional defensive skills, combined with a potent attack.
