Leicester Wednesday Netball Update 25th March
Netball fans enjoyed another lively week in the Leicester Wednesday netball, with plenty of competitive matches. While results varied, every team showed commitment and effort on the court.
In week 3 of the season, The Allsorts secured a 30–3 win over Court Queens. Their strong teamwork and accurate shooting made the difference in a well-executed performance.
Elsewhere, Shooting Stars delivered a 14–5 victory against Wreake Havoc. Despite the result, Wreake Havoc’s Yasmin Felstead was a standout performer, showing great determination and skill to earn Player of the Week recognition—an encouraging highlight for her team.
Seagrave Squirrels and Nets Top Models also played out an engaging contest, with Nets Top Models coming out on top 15–10 after a closely fought match.
Natterjacks rounded off the week with a 16–0 win over Birstall Bluebirds, demonstrating strong form and finishing as the highest scorers.
Overall, the week’s results have added to an exciting start to the season. With more games ahead, teams will be looking to build momentum, and supporters can look forward to more enjoyable netball in the weeks to come.
