In the Leicester Wednesday netball sportsmanship was once again evident, alongside some enjoyable passages of play and strong individual performances. In week 13 of the season, teams competed with enthusiasm and determination, all keen to put in their best performances.
Natterjacks delivered a confident display, securing a 19–4 win over Nets Top Models. Wreake Havoc also enjoyed a strong outing, finishing 16–5 ahead of Give Us A Shot after a well-organised and consistent performance. The Allsorts claimed a 15–3 win against Court Queens, while Shooting Stars recorded a 17–6 victory over Seagrave Squirrels, demonstrating composed attacking play.
Although Court Queens were on the losing side, Caitlin Bonsall stood out with an excellent performance, earning Most Valued Player of the week. Her effort and skill were clear to see and were a real positive for her team.
Overall, the week reflected the continued commitment and teamwork shown across the competition. Each match was played in good spirit, and as the season progresses, there is plenty to look forward to from these dedicated and talented players.
