Leicester Wednesday Netball Update 18th February

In a lively set of matches during Week 12 of the Leicester Wednesday Netball, teams delivered entertaining performances with just two weeks remaining in the season. With the campaign nearing its conclusion, everyone is working hard to finish on a positive note and strengthen their position for next season.

Natterjacks secured an 11–8 win over Seagrave Squirrels in a closely contested game. Shooting Stars produced a confident display against Court Queens, earning a 12–1 victory, while The Allsorts impressed with a strong 21–5 result against Give Us A Shot.

Another notable fixture saw Nets Top Models claim a 17–10 win over Wreake Havoc. Both teams showed great commitment throughout the match, contributing to an enjoyable contest.

Despite being on the losing side, Alison Holder of Court Queens delivered an outstanding individual performance. Her determination and skill earned her the well-deserved title of Player of the Week.

As the season approaches its final stages, teams continue to compete with enthusiasm and determination. With plenty still to play for, the remaining matches promise more competitive and engaging netball in the weeks ahead.
