Week 5 of the Tewkesbury Sunday netball league brought another enjoyable round of matches, with teams continuing to grow in confidence and work together across the court in the League.

In one of the fixtures, Dancing Queens secured an 11-8 win over Winner Takes It All. It was a closely played game, with both teams showing good effort and commitment throughout.

Gimme! The Ball also had a strong outing, earning a 15-6 victory against Voulez-Vous. Their teamwork across both attack and defence helped them take control of the match, while Voulez-Vous continued to compete and create chances.

Despite the result, Voulez-Vous had a standout performer in Megan Rawlings, who was named Player of the Week. Her all-round contribution and consistency on court made a real impact and was a positive highlight for her team.

Gimme! The Ball also finished the week as the top-scoring team, reflecting their well-organised play and collective effort.

As the season progresses, teams will be looking to keep building and enjoying their netball each week. The League continues to offer a friendly yet competitive environment, with plenty of exciting fixtures still to come.
