The second week of the Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League brought another round of enjoyable and competitive matches, with teams taking to the court and putting in some strong performances.

In the league, Gimme! The Ball faced Winner Takes It All, with Winner Takes It All coming away with a 12–9 win. It was a closely contested game, with both sides showing great effort, but consistent teamwork and solid defence helped secure the result.

In the second match, Voulez-Vous took on the Super Troupers. Despite a determined performance from the Super Troupers, Voulez-Vous earned a 12–6 win, with their attacking play and defensive organisation making the difference.

There was also a standout individual performance this week, with Weiching Gibson from Dancing Queens being named Most Valued Player. Her contribution across the court, both in attack and defence, played an important role in her team’s performance.

Strong scoring displays were seen from Winner Takes It All and Voulez-Vous, with both teams making the most of their opportunities in front of goal.

The Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League continues to provide a fun and competitive environment, with teams showing great commitment and sportsmanship each week. As the season moves into week three, there’s plenty to look forward to as teams continue to build momentum.
