Tewkesbury Sunday night netball - week 10
Congratulations to Dancing Queens on winning the league this season and to our runners up Gimme! the Ball and also well done to Emma Jones from Gimme! the Ball, who was the Most valued player of the season.
Dancing Queens took a 17-10 victory against Slipping Through Our Fingers. Their strategic play and flawless teamwork earned them the top spot in the league, finishing the season with an impressive 20 points and 10 wins. Their consistent performance and unwavering determination throughout the season have truly set them apart.
However, the story of the night belongs to Kym Doogan of the Super Troupers, who was named the most valued player of the week. Despite Super Troupers narrowly losing to Voulez-Vous by 15-12, Doogan's exceptional performance was a beacon of inspiration for the team. Kym's tactical skills, agility, and sheer tenacity on the court were utterly remarkable, earning well-deserved recognition.
The league's final week was a perfect conclusion to an exciting season, with the teams displaying exceptional valour and sportsmanship. The Dancing Queens emerged as the triumphant champions of the league, marking a memorable end to the Tewkesbury Sunday's Netball season.
