In a thrilling round of contests in the League division of the Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League, energy ran high and the competition was fierce.

In what was undoubtedly the highlight clash of the week - the Dancing Queens pitted against Chiquitita’s. The match was a closely fought affair with Dancing Queens managing to edge out Chiquitita’s with a scoreline of 22-19. The Queens showed remarkable agility and teamwork to clinch the victory in the end, maintaining their top spot in the division.

The Gimme! The Ball team also displayed an impressive performance against Voulez-Vous, securing a well-deserved 14-6 victory. Their defensive strategies stole the show, limiting Voulez-Vous to nearly half their usual scoring streak.

Meanwhile, Super Troupers had a successful run against Slipping Through Our Fingers, wrapping up the match with a respectable 12-5 win. Despite the result, it was Slipping Through Our Fingers’ Kate Zouag who shone through the evening. Zouag was named the most valued player of the week, courtesy of her unrivaled performance and significant contribution to the team. Her relentless drive and exceptional skills were a treat to watch and proved vital in the fierceness of the match.
