Shrewsbury Sunday Netball League 10th November

Shrewsbury’s highly-anticipated netball competition continued last night with the second week of electrifying contests. Colossal competition was the name of the game as the cream of the crop went head-to-head in the Shrewsbury Sunday netball league.

In the division, we saw some nail-biting performances with Quarry Queens securing a hard-fought victory against Bear Steppers, 8-5. The Queens showed an impressive display of skills and teamwork, holding their ground and proving their success in the league.

Darwin's Crew showed their prowess, thundering past Severn Sisters with a 9-4 victory. Not to be overshadowed, Snooze You Shrews showed why they are competitors to reckon with, as they beat Shrew D'you Think You Are? with a score of 11-2.

The star of this week's league was none other than Harriet Lennon from Bear Steppers. Despite her team's result, Lennon's exceptional performance on the court captured everyone's attention. Her agility, quick thinking, and precision earned her the title of the most valued player of the week, demonstrating that individual brilliance can shine even in the face of defeat.

While the league is still in its early stages, these results have set an exciting tone for the epic battles to come. It's clear that every team in the division is raring to display their mettle, promising a thrilling season of intense competition and unforgettable performances.
