Another Brilliant Evening at the Biggleswade Sunday Social Netball League
Week 11 of the Biggleswade Sunday Social Netball League brought another enjoyable night of netball, with great teamwork, plenty of encouragement and some fantastic individual performances across the courts.
Purple Shooters had a positive game against Hoop Hustlers, linking up well and working hard in both attack and defence to secure an 18–10 result. Both teams showed great spirit and kept the energy high throughout.
Stratton Sisters also had a strong outing against Spice Goals, putting together some lovely passages of play to finish 13–7. It was great to see communication and teamwork shining through from both sides.
Hoops There It Is and No Net No Sweat shared an entertaining contest, with No Net No Sweat finishing ahead 18–10. The match was played in excellent spirit, with both teams supporting each other right to the final whistle.
Wildcats enjoyed a particularly strong performance against Risk Takers, working confidently together to secure a 20–5 win. Their movement around the court and supportive teamwork really stood out on the night.
A special mention goes to Emily Allred from Risk Takers, who was named Player of the Week. Despite the result, her determination, shooting accuracy and overall contribution on court made her performance one to remember.
As the season continues, it’s fantastic to see players building confidence, improving each week and enjoying the social side of the league just as much as the netball itself. The positive and welcoming atmosphere each Sunday is what makes the league so special.
