Biggleswade Sunday Netball Update - Week 8

A Fantastic Evening of Netball in the Biggleswade Sunday League

Week 8 of the Biggleswade Sunday 7-a-side Netball League brought another brilliant evening of netball, with teams enjoying fast-paced games, great teamwork and plenty of positive energy on court.

Spice Goals had a strong performance against Risk Takers, working well together to secure a 19–6 win. Their movement around the court and supportive communication helped them build momentum throughout the game.

No Net No Sweat also had a good evening, earning a 16–2 result against Wildcats. Despite the scoreline, Wildcats showed real determination, and Rebecca Larter stood out with an excellent individual performance. Her energy, agility and commitment earned her Player of the Week – a well-deserved recognition for her efforts and attitude on court.

Hoop Hustlers enjoyed a productive match against Hoops There It Is, finishing 20–6 in a game that showcased some lovely passages of play and strong teamwork.

The match between Stratton Sisters and Purple Shooters was a closely fought contest, with Stratton Sisters taking a 17–11 win. Both teams played with great spirit, making it an enjoyable game to watch and be part of.

As we move towards the final weeks of the season, it’s fantastic to see teams continuing to grow in confidence, support one another and enjoy their Sunday evening netball. The league atmosphere remains positive and welcoming, and we’re looking forward to more great games in the weeks ahead.
