The final week of the Biggleswade Sunday Netball League brought a brilliant end to the season, with plenty of smiles, great teamwork, and memorable moments on court.
A big congratulations goes to No Net No Sweat, who finished the season on a high after a series of strong performances. Their consistency, teamwork, and positive attitude have been great to see throughout.
A well-deserved mention also goes to Purple Shooters, who finished as runners-up this season. They’ve had a fantastic run, showing great teamwork and skill week in, week out.
Wildcats and Stratton Sisters enjoyed a lively game, with Stratton Sisters coming away with a 17–3 win. A special shoutout goes to Rebecca Larter from Wildcats, who was named this week’s most valuable player. Her effort, determination, and all-round play really stood out.
Hoop Hustlers had a good game against Risk Takers, securing a 15–3 win, with both teams showing great energy and encouragement for one another.
No Net No Sweat also took to the court against Spice Goals in a close and enjoyable match, finishing 13–10. It was a great example of teamwork and communication from both sides.
Purple Shooters rounded off the evening with a strong performance against Hoops There It Is, winning 26–10, with some excellent passing and shooting on display.
A big congratulations as well to Tia from Risk Takers, who has been named Player of the Season. Her commitment, positive attitude, and performances throughout the season have made a real impact—very well deserved!
Overall, it’s been a fantastic season filled with friendly competition, support, and great netball. A big well done to all teams for making it such an enjoyable league to be part of—we can’t wait to see everyone back for more in the next season!
