It was an action-packed evening of social netball at Stratford Leisure Centre for Week 3 of the season. The welcoming atmosphere was filled with camaraderie as players of different experience levels, from first-time participants to seasoned veterans, took to the court for an enjoyable night of friendly competition.

In the first match of the evening, Goal Diggers and Star Hoops showcased great teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. Goal Diggers wrapped up the game with a scoreline of 15-4 but every player deserves credit for their positive energy and the enjoyable game played in great spirit.

Court Queens and Stratford Darlings engaged in a game that exuded positivity and camaraderie. The Darlings finished the game with a remarkable score of 27-6, but the commitment and teamwork displayed by the Queens were commendable.

The encounter between Rogue Angels and Golden Eagles was a testimony to the spirit of social netball, with the final score standing at 12-11 in favour of the Angels. The game was the epitome of positive energy with both teams proving that netball is not just about the score.

The final game of the evening was between Get The Rebound and Girls Of Glory. With the Glory girls finishing up with a score of 18-4, the game was played with immense spirit and great enjoyment.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the week. Their enthusiasm and movement around the court were admired by all. Their positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, making them the embodiment of what social netball stands for.

As we look forward to another delightful evening next week for Week 4, we are excited to see more friendly social netball. It’s not just about the game, but also about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment. Win or lose, it’s the spirit of the game that matters most.
