Play in the Stratford-upon-avon Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

In the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, community spirit was in full swing at the Stratford Leisure Centre. The much-loved venue was bustling with excitement as the 12th week of social netball unfolded. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, players of all levels came together to enjoy a splendid evening of friendly competition, camaraderie and, most importantly, fun!

The first match kicked off with the Court Queens and the Goal Diggers. The game ended with the Goal Diggers finishing with a score of 15-11. The game was a display of fantastic teamwork and commitment from both sides, with every player demonstrating wonderful sportsmanship. The positive energy was palpable and it was evident that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the game.

The second match saw Get The Rebound play against Stratford Darlings. The Stratford Darlings finished the game with a score of 5-3. This was another fun match played in great spirit, with both teams showing a commendable level of dedication and enthusiasm.

The final match of the evening was between Girls Of Glory and Star Hoops. The Girls Of Glory finished the game with a score of 10-3. Despite the score, the highlight of the game was the camaraderie and positive energy radiating from both teams, proving that in social netball, it's the spirit of the game that truly counts.

A special mention goes to Sarah from Get The Rebound. Her intense enthusiasm, tireless movement around the court, and positive contribution did not go unnoticed. Both her teammates and opponents appreciated her efforts, making her the Most Valued Player of the evening.

Looking ahead to Week 13, we are eager to welcome more friendly faces to enjoy an evening of social netball. As we near the end of the season with just two weeks of matches left, we encourage anyone thinking about joining us to come along and try their hand at social netball. Whether you're keen on keeping active, meeting new people, or developing your netball skills in a supportive environment, there’s always room for more in our netball family.
