Play in the Stratford-upon-avon Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

The ninth week of the season at Stratford Leisure Centre was filled with a welcoming atmosphere, camaraderie, and an exciting evening of social netball. Players of all experience levels joined together in an excellent display of sportswomanship and commitment, contributing positively to the friendly yet passionate energy that filled the arena.

The first match of the evening saw Goal Diggers and Star Hoops take to the court. In a game filled with laughter and team spirit, Goal Diggers concluded the game with a narrow win of 11-10. Despite the close score, both teams demonstrated a fantastic level of teamwork, making it an enjoyable game played in great spirit.

Next, it was the Stratford Darlings and Rogue Angels turn to showcase their skills. The Darlings ended the game with a score of 8-3, with both teams showing unwavering determination and sportsmanship. The positive energy on the court was palpable, and both sides engaged in the friendly competition with warmth and respect.

Court Queens and Golden Eagles also put on a remarkable game. With the Court Queens wrapping up the game with a score of 11-9, it was clear that the evening was not only about winning but celebrating the sport and enjoying the company of fellow netball enthusiasts.

The final match of the evening saw Get The Rebound and Girls Of Glory take to the court. With Girls of Glory concluding the game with a score of 21-4, both teams demonstrated the true essence of social netball, focusing on the fun, friendship and fitness aspects of the game rather than the final score.

A special mention goes to the evening's Most Valued Player, who, with her contagious enthusiasm and movement around the court, made a positive contribution that was highly appreciated by both teammates and opponents.
