On a warm week 6 of our social netball season, the Stratford Leisure Centre came alive with spirited games and the friendly camaraderie that defines our community. The night was filled with the welcoming atmosphere and uplifting energy that makes netball such a beloved sport among our players. Regardless of experience level, everyone had a fantastic time showcasing their skills and enjoying the sport we all love.

The Star Hoops and Goal Diggers showed us a thrilling game to remember. The final whistle saw the Goal Diggers finish with a score of 12, while the Star Hoops achieved 9. The game was a wonderful display of dedication, positive energy, and teamwork, enjoyed by both teams and spectators.

Next, the Rogue Angels and Stratford Darlings took to the court. The match ended with Stratford Darlings achieving a score of 23 while Rogue Angels finished with 7. Each player showed admirable sportsmanship and commitment, and the friendly atmosphere made it a delightful game to watch.

The Golden Eagles and Court Queens then treated us to an exciting showcase of netball at its finest. Golden Eagles finished the game with an impressive 14 points, and the Court Queens achieved a commendable 8. This enjoyable game, played in great spirit, was a testament to the positive energy and teamwork of both teams.

Our fourth and final match of the night was between Girls of Glory and Get The Rebound. A riveting game, Girls of Glory finished with a score of 22 and Get The Rebound with 11. With every pass, catch, and shot, both teams exemplified the spirit of social netball.

Our Most Valued Player for the week was none other than Katie Silvester from the Golden Eagles. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were truly outstanding. Her contribution to her team and the game was greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 7, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. We look forward to keeping active, meeting new people and developing our netball skills in the supportive and fun environment of our Stratford Leisure Centre. Back to Netball is not just about the games, it's about the community we've built and continue to strengthen. Here's to another great week of netball!
