Great Netball on Display in Week 3 of the Stratford-upon-Avon Sunday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball
Week 3 of the Stratford-upon-Avon Sunday Netball League brought another fantastic evening of competitive netball, with teams continuing to develop their combinations, build confidence, and produce some excellent performances on court. The energy and enthusiasm from all teams created a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening, with plenty of exciting moments for players and supporters alike.
Get The Rebound and Goal Diggers got the action underway with an entertaining contest. Get The Rebound produced a strong team performance, demonstrating excellent defensive organisation and teamwork throughout the match. Goal Diggers continued to work hard and showed great determination, battling for every ball and supporting one another from start to finish.
Court Queens and Girls Of Glory then took to the court in another competitive fixture. Both teams displayed excellent commitment and effort, creating an enjoyable match filled with strong defensive play and some well-worked attacking moves. Court Queens put together a solid all-round performance, while Girls Of Glory showed plenty of resilience and determination throughout the game.
One of the standout matches of the evening saw Star Hoops take on Rogue Angels in a closely contested encounter. Both sides produced some excellent netball, with momentum shifting throughout the game and neither team willing to give an inch. The match showcased the competitive spirit of the league and highlighted the quality of netball being played across all teams.
Stratford Darlings also enjoyed a successful evening, delivering an impressive performance against Golden Eagles. Their teamwork, movement, and communication were evident throughout the match, helping them produce a confident display. Golden Eagles continued to compete with great spirit and demonstrated the positive attitude that makes the league such an enjoyable competition to be part of.
As the season begins to take shape, it is encouraging to see the continued progress and development of all teams. Every week brings new challenges and opportunities, and the standard of netball continues to grow as players gain confidence and experience.
The league would also like to thank all of our umpires for their dedication and commitment each week. Their contribution is vital in ensuring matches are played fairly, safely, and in the right spirit. We kindly remind all players and supporters to continue treating officials with respect at all times. A positive and supportive environment helps ensure that everyone can enjoy their netball and contributes to the welcoming atmosphere that makes the league so special.
